All of my offerings are based in current scientific research and are affirming and inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities. I can tailor presentation topics to specific audience identities (e.g., just to 2SLGBTQIA+ youth). If you don’t see a topic you would like covered on this page, contact me–I’d love to help if I can.

What I do:
As an educator, I:
- Scaffold learners’ understandings of topics related to sexuality and sexual health by developing and delivering lesson plans based in current research findings and best practices in sexual health education.
- Provide information on resources such as qualified medical and psychological health professionals, and community resources/programs
As a researcher, I am interested in:
- Understanding how sexual health education is linked to what goes on later in development in terms of use of safer sex practices.
- Understanding disparities in access to sexual health education that is affirming and inclusive, and how inclusive practices can be used to benefit all learners in the classroom.
- Other topics related to emotions, family dynamics, mental health and stress. More information abut my research can be found on my lab website.
